Boeing Completes O3b mPOWER Satellite Constellation Deployment

The Boeing O3b mPOWER satellite constellation has reached its final milestone, completing its deployment with the successful launch of three additional satellites.

The 13-satellite constellation is designed to boost global connectivity for mobile users, governments, and other customers worldwide.

According to SES CEO Adel Al-Saleh, this marks a defining milestone for SES as it further strengthens its Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) capabilities.

The O3b mPOWER system is built on Boeing's software-defined payload technology, which enables the satellites to dynamically route bandwidth and adjust capacity in real-time.

This capability will support areas where broadband is limited, including remote communities and small villages, by providing high-speed connectivity for digital services such as telehealth and online learning.
