Boeing Delivers First F-15EX Fighter Bound for Japan
Boeing has delivered its first F-15EX Eagle II fighter to the US Air Force, which will be stationed at Kadena Air Base in Japan. The aircraft, number 22-0022, departed Boeing's St. Louis production campus on August 28 for a temporary stop at Portland Air National Guard Base in Oregon.
The delivery marks a significant milestone in the F-15EX program, with this being the 22nd Eagle II produced for the US Air Force. The fighter will be stationed at Kadena Air Base as part of the country's ongoing efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
