Boeing Engineers Union Agrees to Resume Contract Negotiations
Negotiations between Boeing and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) will resume on September 8, after talks ended last week. The union had overwhelmingly rejected Boeing's four-year contract offer on August 21.
The SPEEA members have made it clear that their top priority is getting higher general wage increases from Boeing in the next offer. In an internal survey, they emphasized this point, indicating a strong stance in negotiations.
A Boeing spokesperson said the company looks forward to taking the union's feedback and reaching a resolution that works for both parties.
