Boeing Inspires Next Generation of Engineers and Aviators

Boeing recently hosted St. Louis-area students for a day of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.

The event offered hands-on programs in partnership with nonprofit mentoring organizations, giving students access to engineering or aerospace-related experiences.

Students toured the James S. McDonnell Prologue Room, a museum showcasing artifacts and models from over a century of Boeing's aviation and space milestones.

They talked with Boeing professionals with engineering backgrounds, learned flight fundamentals, and applied their knowledge in a flight simulator and paper airplane contest.
