Boeing Invests in Archer Aviation with Acquisition of Wisk Aero

Archer Aviation has acquired Wisk Aero from Boeing in a deal that will give Boeing a 16.5% stake in Archer's shares.

The acquisition also includes the purchase of SkyGrid, an air traffic management software developer, and Insitu, a drone manufacturer.

This unites two of the leading companies in the development of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, with Archer gaining access to Wisk's autonomous flight software.
