Boeing Lands $131 Billion F-15 Contract

The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a massive contract worth up to $131.23 billion to support the F-15 Eagle Crest program, which oversees the F-15 fighter aircraft fleet.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract will cover various aspects of the program, including aircraft production, systems integration, upgrades, and sustainment, as well as organic depot maintenance to keep the F-15 aircraft mission-ready for the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers.

The work will be performed at St. Louis, Missouri, with an expected completion date by August 2037. The ordering period runs through August 24, 2031, with an option to extend it through August 24, 2036.

The contract also includes Foreign Military Sales to several countries, including Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland. Boeing was awarded the contract on a sole-source basis.
