Boeing Lands $131 Billion F-15 Contract with Global Implications
Boeing has secured a contract worth up to $131.23 billion for the F-15 program, which includes production, modernization, and support of the fighter jet over the next decade.
The contract, known as Eagle Crest, is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity agreement that allows individual orders to be placed as requirements emerge.
The scope of the contract encompasses aircraft production, systems integration, upgrades, retrofits, and sustainment, as well as establishment of additional depot maintenance capabilities.
Notably, the contract includes potential Foreign Military Sales to seven countries: Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland. However, Indonesia's inclusion is particularly interesting given Boeing's previous statement that the F-15 campaign was no longer active in the country.
