Boeing Lands $131 Billion Federal Contract For F-15 Work In St. Louis
Boeing has secured a major federal contract worth up to $131.23 billion for F-15 fighter jet production, modernization, and support work in St. Louis.
The Department of War announced the sole-source, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract on August 28, 2026.
The Pentagon stated that the contract provides for aircraft production, systems integration, modernization, upgrades, retrofits, sustainment, and the establishment of organic depot maintenance capabilities to deliver and maintain critical F-15 Eagle Weapon System capabilities for the Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers.
The work is expected to be completed by August 2037 with an ordering period that will end on August 24, 2031. There's an option to extend this period until August 24, 2036.
