Boeing Lands $163M Deal for B-52 Upgrades
Boeing has secured a significant contract from the US Department of War worth $162.97 million to upgrade its B-52 bomber fleet.
The contract, which was issued under an existing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract established in 2019, covers the manufacturing and delivery of B-52 Bomb Rack Modernization System kits as part of the B-52 Radar Modernization Program.
The work will be performed at San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 20, 2028. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis to Boeing's Oklahoma City facility.
