The delivery order was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022, and work will take place primarily in Jacksonville, Florida, which accounts for 83% of the contract, with the remaining 17% performed in St. Louis, Missouri.

Boeing expects to complete the work by September 2032, and the Navy will obligate $60.3 million in fiscal 2026 working capital funds at the time of award, representing 25% of the contract value.
