Boeing Lands $241 Million Navy Contract for Aircraft Repair Work
The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a significant contract for the repair of flight control surfaces used on Navy F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft. The contract, worth $241.3 million, was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022.
According to the details, Boeing will repair nine different configurations of flight control surfaces for the Navy aircraft, with 83% of the work taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, and the remaining 17% performed in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company expects to complete the work by September 2032, and the contract includes a significant upfront payment of $60.3 million in fiscal 2026 working capital funds, which represents 25% of the contract value.
