Boeing Lands Framework Deals for SM-3 Hardware Production Boost

Boeing has secured seven-year framework agreements with the U.S. Department of War (DoW) and Raytheon to boost production of Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) hardware.

The new agreements aim to increase output of critical components, including avionics and ejector assemblies for the SM-3 Block IB and IIA variants.

According to Boeing, this will enable increased production of interceptors that form the backbone of U.S. sea-based missile defense at home and abroad.

This development is part of the administration's focus on strengthening the Arsenal of Freedom and aligns with the DoW's Acquisition Transformation Strategy.
