Boeing Lands Massive $131 Billion F-15 Contract Amid Defense Spending Boom
Boeing has secured another massive defense contract from the U.S. Department of Defense, valued at up to $131.23 billion for the F-15 'Eagle Crest' program.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract will support aircraft production, system integration, modernization upgrades, modifications, and follow-on maintenance support through August 2031 with options to extend until 2036.
This F-15 contract has a broad scope, covering not only the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard but also supporting Foreign Military Sales to countries such as Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.
The $131.2 billion contract further demonstrates the strategic value of Boeing's defense business, which has been overshadowed by issues related to 737 MAX production and delivery pace in recent years.
