Boeing Lands Record-Breaking Defense Contract Valued at $131B

Boeing has secured a major U.S. defense contract valued at up to $131.23 billion for its F-15 Eagle Crest program. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity agreement covers various aspects of F-15 production, including modernization, upgrades, and sustainment. Work on the project will be carried out in St. Louis, Missouri, with a program extension through August 2037.

The contract supports the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers, as well as Foreign Military Sales to countries including Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland. The government initially obligated $343,740 in fiscal 2026 research, development, test, and evaluation funds.

For Boeing, the contract reinforces its defense backlog and long-term F-15 franchise. However, it is essential to note that the $131.23 billion figure represents the contract ceiling rather than guaranteed revenue.
