Boeing Mechanic Sues Company for Alleged Harassment, Claims Firing After Reporting Abuse
A former Boeing aircraft mechanic has filed a federal lawsuit against the company, alleging she endured sexual and racial harassment while working at its Moses Lake operation. The woman claims that despite reporting the conduct through Boeing's ethics and human resources channels, she was later fired.
The lawsuit, Barrett v. The Boeing Company, case No. 2:26-cv-02942, was filed on August 19 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
The plaintiff alleges that she faced harassment from a supervisor and coworkers, including racist comments and unwanted advances. She also claims that Boeing failed to take adequate action to address her complaints and ultimately terminated her employment.
