Boeing Mechanic Sues Company Over Alleged Toxic Chemical Exposure

A Boeing mechanic claims his decades-long employment at the company's Seattle-area manufacturing facilities caused him to develop cancer due to toxic chemical exposures. The lawsuit, which was removed by Boeing to federal court, alleges that the mechanic inhaled chemicals while working on aircraft.

The mechanic's claim is based on his work at Boeing's facilities between 1991 and 2019. During this time, he allegedly breathed in harmful chemicals such as solvents and paints, leading to his diagnosis with cancer.

Boeing has removed the lawsuit to federal court, where it will be heard by a judge. The company has not commented on the allegations made by the mechanic.
