A former Boeing aircraft mechanic has filed a federal lawsuit against The Boeing Company, alleging sexual and racial harassment while working at the company's Moses Lake operation. The mechanic was later fired after reporting the conduct through Boeing's ethics and human resources channels.

The lawsuit, Barrett v. The Boeing Company, case No. 2:26-cv-02942, was filed on August 19 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

According to the complaint, the mechanic endured sexual and racial harassment while working at Boeing's Moses Lake facility. She reported the conduct through Boeing's ethics and human resources channels, but was later fired.

The lawsuit alleges that Boeing failed to take adequate steps to prevent or address the harassment, and that the company's actions were discriminatory and retaliatory.
