Boeing (BA) has joined forces with Archer Aviation (ACHR) in a major deal for autonomous aviation. The partnership was announced on August 10, 2026, and is seen as a strategic move by Boeing to offload some of its risks and de-risk its operations. For Archer, the deal converts its pure eVTOL optionality into a broader aeros platform.

The Dow-30 and S&P 500 pulled back from recent record highs on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI.US) falling by 464.02 points (0.9%) to a close of 53,885.10. This decline snapped a five-session winning streak for the index.

Boeing's stock price rose by 8.03% on Thursday, closing at $233.49 after trading between $219.21 and $234.09. The FAA approved the 737 MAX 7 earlier this year, allowing deliveries to begin and shifting attention towards the MAX 10 pipeline.
