Boeing Partners with Polish Companies on Apache Support
Boeing has signed offset implementation agreements with Polish defense companies WZL-1 and WCBKT to establish maintenance, repair, and ground support capabilities for Poland's future AH-64E Apache attack helicopter fleet.
The agreements were signed at WZL-1's facility in Łódź and are part of Poland's offset obligations tied to its purchase of 96 AH-64E Apaches.
Poland will become the world's second-largest Apache operator after the United States once all helicopters are delivered, according to Boeing.
Under the agreements, WZL-1 will develop maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for the AH-64E, including routine inspections, repairs, and selected depot-level work.
WCBKT will work with Boeing to evaluate Polish-designed ground support equipment for possible use with the helicopter.
