Boeing Pays $3.1 Million Fine Over Safety Violations to FAA
Boeing has paid $3.1 million in fines to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for safety violations.
The fine relates to the 2024 Alaska Airlines emergency, when a B737-9 door plug blew out mid-flight.
The FAA proposed the fine in September 2025 and the total figure represents the maximum civil penalties allowed by law.
