Boeing Posts Solid Delivery Numbers Amid Stake Deal with Archer Aviation
Boeing delivered 53 aircraft in July, consisting of 39 737 MAX, 10 787, 3 767, and 1 777F jets. Year-to-date deliveries stand at 367. The company received bookings for 18 737 MAX, 19 787, and 1 777X.
However, there were also 8 cancellations of the 737 MAX orders in July, bringing the year-to-date net orders to 429. Boeing will receive a 19.75% stake in Archer Aviation and a board seat as part of Archer's acquisition of Insitu and Wisk assets.
The deal involves Insitu, which is Boeing's drone unit, moving to Archer. Additionally, Argus Research set a price target of $265 per share for Boeing Company (BA). This news comes after Boeing signed offset agreements with partners to provide maintenance and sustainment services for Poland's AH-64E Apache fleet.
