The Pentagon has pressed defense contractors to increase weapons production. This move comes as Boeing's stock rose 8% this week, according to Quiver Quantitative.

The Dow-30 and S&P 500 indices pulled back from recent record highs on Thursday due to post-earnings declines in Western Digital, Sandisk, Applovin, DataDog, and other Big Techs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 464.02 points (0.9%) to a close of 53,885.10.

The FAA approved the 737 MAX 7 after years of delays, allowing deliveries to begin and shifting attention toward the MAX 10 pipeline. Boeing's stock finished at $233.49, up 8.03%, with post-market pricing staying near the close.
