Boeing Secures $131 Billion Contract to Modernize Global F-15 Fleet
Boeing has secured a massive long-term contract valued at up to $131.23 billion to overhaul and modernize the global F-15 fighter aircraft fleet. The agreement, known as the Boeing F-15 Eagle Crest contract, will provide critical operational readiness for the U.S. Air Force, the Air National Guard, and key international defense partners through 2037.
Under the terms of the contract, Boeing will manage broad-spectrum integration, upgrades, retrofits, and comprehensive sustainment across active weapon systems. The primary ordering period extends through August 24, 2031, with a multi-year extension option pushing potential ordering activities out to August 24, 2036.
A significant portion of the program incorporates Foreign Military Sales (FMS), extending Boeing's lifecycle maintenance to allied air arms. Partner nations benefiting from the award include Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.
