The US Department of Defense has signed a long-term framework agreement with Boeing for the F-15 program, known as Eagle Crest. The contract runs through 2037 and has a ceiling value of $131.23 billion.
The program includes not only the production of new fighter jets but also systems integration, modernization and upgrades of aircraft, maintenance, ground infrastructure creation, and comprehensive support for the fighters throughout their service life.
Orders under the framework agreement are planned to be placed through August 24, 2031. However, this period may be extended by another five years if necessary.
