Boeing Sees Strong Demand, Despite Production Concerns
OMERS Administration Corp has invested $9.15 million in Boeing Company by purchasing 42,283 shares of its stock. This investment was made in the second quarter, according to a recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Boeing Company's defense segment is seeing strong demand for its P-8 Poseidon business, including a new $156.2 million contract. Additionally, National Airlines has accepted its fourth Boeing 777-200 Freighter, highlighting ongoing cargo-aircraft demand.
However, there are still concerns about Boeing's ability to increase 737 MAX production against its substantial backlog. Analysts continue to focus on this issue as a key risk for the company.
