Boeing Shakes Up Wichita Production Leadership

Boeing's Wichita production site has undergone a leadership change, with Sean Black transitioning to a new role as vice president overseeing future commercial jet production. He previously served as general manager and site leader in Wichita since Boeing acquired Spirit AeroSystems in December 2025.

Black moved into his new position on September 9, 2026, while Shakira Pastrana-Naumann relocated from Seattle to take over the former Spirit AeroSystems site. Boeing did not provide a reason for the change.
