Boeing has paid a $3.1 million fine to the US aviation regulator after admitting to widespread safety violations.

The company acknowledged that it had failed to report several incidents involving its planes, including a near-miss with another aircraft in 2019 and an aborted landing attempt due to a technical issue in 2020.

The fines were imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after a investigation found that Boeing had not complied with safety regulations.
