Boeing, SPEEA Set to Meet Again Amid Contract Talks Stalemate
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) and Boeing are set to meet on Monday for contract talks after both parties rejected agreements negotiated by their representatives last Friday.
SPEEA surveyed its members this week to gather more specific demands for the upcoming round of negotiations, which aim to reach a new agreement before current contracts expire at midnight on October 6.
If no deal is reached by then, workers are free to go on strike. Boeing said it looks forward to working with SPEEA to find a solution at the bargaining table.
