Boeing Stock Slips Amid Executive Changes as F-15EX Deliveries Take Off
Boeing's recent executive lineup change has led to a fractionally lower share price. The company appointed Sean Black as vice president of BCA Future Production System, who previously worked at Spirit AeroSystems. In a related move, Shakira Pastrana-Naumann took over as fabrication vice president and general manager from Mick Sorrenson.
Boeing has also started delivering the F-15EX fighter to various countries, including Japan's Kadena Air Base. The first delivery was delayed due to a factory strike but is now on track for completion. Brigadier General John Gallemore expressed enthusiasm for the new capability, saying 'Our team is ready to welcome the F-15EX.'
Wall Street analysts have a Strong Buy consensus rating on Boeing stock (NYSE:BA), with 17 Buys and one Hold assigned in the past three months. The average price target of $274.67 per share implies a potential upside of 33.2%.
