Boeing Stock Steadies on $131 Billion Defense Deal
Boeing's stock steadied at around $210 per share on August 25, 2026, as investors weighed the newly awarded $131.23 billion F-15 Eagle Crest defense contract against a $597 billion aircraft and services backlog.
The US Department of Defense has awarded Boeing an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity framework for the F-15 Eagle Crest program with a maximum ceiling value of $131.23 billion, covering production, upgrades, systems integration, and lifecycle support for the F-15 fighter fleet.
Work under the framework is scheduled to run through August 2037, providing Boeing with more than a decade of incremental defense revenue visibility tied to the F-15 franchise.
The order period under the F-15 Eagle Crest framework extends until August 24, 2031, with an option to prolong the window for placing orders to August 24, 2036.
