Boeing Stock Surges Above $200 Amid Slight Dip in Deliveries
Boeing's stock price has surged above $200 despite a slight dip in deliveries. In August, Boeing delivered 51 aircraft, marking a 10.5% year-over-year decline.
However, the company's year-to-date total remains its best since 2018, indicating its recovery efforts in production are paying off.
Boeing reported $24.5 billion in revenue for Q2, an 8% increase from the previous year, with adjusted free cash flow turning positive at $631 million.
The company's backlog stands at a robust $715 billion, with over 6,200 commercial aircraft in the pipeline, providing strong support for future revenue growth and indicating sustained market demand for its products.
