Boeing Supplier Dispute Imperils 767 and 777 Production

Boeing has alleged that a supplier dispute is threatening production of its 767 and 777 aircraft at an Everett, Washington facility. The aerospace giant claims that Vaero, a parts supplier, has refused to deliver crucial wing components for the planes unless Boeing pays tens of millions of dollars in additional compensation.

The complaint states that Vaero's refusal to supply parts has stalled work on the 'wing line' of Boeing's 777F Freighter and 767 aircraft production. This issue must be addressed before it cascades into other production lines at the facility, according to Boeing.
