Boeing has appointed Celso Ferrer as its new president for Latin America and the Caribbean, effective September 4. Ferrer is currently CEO of Brazilian low-cost airline GOL Linhas Aéreas.

Ferrer brings over two decades of experience in the aviation industry to his new role, where he will be responsible for strengthening Boeing's operations, strategy, and presence across the region.

He replaces Landon Loomis, who left the position in October 2025 to become president of Boeing China. Ferrer's appointment comes as Boeing seeks to expand its presence in Latin America, a dynamic and growing market.
