Boeing Taps New Leader for Next-Gen Plane Blueprint

To further this momentum, CEO of Boeing's Commercial Airplanes division Stephanie Pope announced three leadership changes, including the appointment of Sean Black as vice president of BCA Future Production System.
Black will play a crucial role in shaping the industrial blueprint for Boeing's next new plane, which has been eagerly anticipated by the industry. The position is not new, but its focus has shifted over time, according to a Boeing spokesperson.
Pope highlighted the company's progress in ramping up airplane production and certifying key development programs, including the Max 10 and 777X family. She also noted that this momentum enables Boeing to focus strategically on the future and set itself up for long-term success.
