Boeing Teams Up with Thai Regulator on Competency-Based Pilot Training

Boeing has announced an agreement with Thailand's Civil Aviation Authority to deploy its competency-based training and assessment learning library across approved flight training organizations throughout the country.

This marks the first time a national regulator has adopted the training ecosystem across its entire community of training providers, rather than through an individual airline or academy.

The arrangement is part of Boeing's efforts to address the severe pilot staffing needs in Southeast Asia over the next two decades, which are expected to reach tens of thousands of new pilots.

Under this agreement, flight schools across Thailand will gain access to a common set of training content and assessment structures aligned with internationally recognized principles.
