Boeing to Resume Contract Talks with Engineers Union on September 8
Negotiations between Boeing and the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) will resume on September 8, after talks ended last week when SPEEA members overwhelmingly rejected Boeing's four-year contract offer.
The union, which represents engineers and technical workers in Washington and other states, said that its members' top priority is higher general wage increases from Boeing in the next offer.
A Boeing spokesperson stated that the company looks forward to taking SPEEA's feedback into account and reaching a resolution that works for both parties and keeps the company competitive.
