Boeing Wins $241 Million Navy Contract for Aircraft Repairs
The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing Co. a $241.3 million contract to repair flight control surfaces for Navy F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft.
The delivery order was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022, with work set to take place primarily in Jacksonville, Florida, which accounts for 83% of the contract, and the remaining 17% performed in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company expects to complete the work by September 2032 and will repair nine different configurations of flight control surfaces for the Navy aircraft.
