Boeing Workers' Union Accepts Company's Final Contract Offer Amid Ongoing Activism
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA), which represents thousands of Boeing employees, has received the company's final contract offer after months of negotiation.
The union announced that its negotiation team recommends accepting the proposal, crediting recent activism among members for pushing Boeing to present a better offer. According to the union, thousands of members participated in marches and rallies across Boeing properties in the Pacific Northwest.
The company's final offer includes an immediate 10% wage increase for all Professional and Technical unit-represented workers, effective October 16. Additionally, there will be a 4% wage increase in March 2027, followed by 6% annual wage pools from 2028 to 2030, with a guaranteed 4% annual increase.
The union also outlined changes to policy and workplace revisions, including updated contract language regarding work-from-home options, overtime limits for Professional unit members, and a new process to communicate Boeing's future workforce needs.
