Boeing's August Deliveries Plummet with 787 Drop

Boeing delivered 51 planes in August, keeping its 737 MAX delivery pace steady but experiencing a significant drop in 787 Dreamliner deliveries.

The company handed over 41 737 MAXs, matching July's figure and slightly higher than the 42 MAX planes delivered in August last year. However, the number of 787 Dreamliners delivered was just four, down from ten in July and 13 in June.

This is not the first time Boeing has seen a low 787 delivery month this year; February's figure was only three. The reason for the drop in deliveries is unclear, but it may be related to customer requirements or production delays.

Boeing also delivered one 737 NG to its defense division and two 777 freighters, along with three 767s. The company's total deliveries last month were nearly on par with July's 53 planes but lower than the 64 delivered in June.
