Boeing's Influence Persists in Russia

The production of new Russian aircraft is hindered by foreign lobbying efforts, according to Sergey Isakov, former head of the Russian Aviation Consortium. He claims that the American corporation Boeing continues to exert influence in Russia despite its claims of withdrawal.

Isakov points out that while those who lobbied for Boeing's interests may have left top positions, their successors continue to disregard the president's instructions for a complete transition to domestic aircraft manufacturing. This is evident in the ongoing piece-by-piece production of new Russian aircraft.

Vadim Badeha, head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), emphasizes that the main task of the aviation industry is to produce competitive aircraft to replace foreign-made vessels.

Stanislav Ryzhakov, former director of the Ulyanovsk branch of Tupolev, also notes that Boeing remains ready to return to the Russian market.
