Boeing's Smallest MAX Cleared for Takeoff After Nine-Year Wait

The Boeing 737 MAX 7 has finally received certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after a long and arduous process that began in 2018.

With over 1,000 hours of flight and ground testing, the aircraft has been designed to burn 20% less fuel and produce half as much noise as its predecessors.

Southwest Airlines, the launch customer, has been waiting patiently for this moment and will now receive its first deliveries with final configuration updates.
