Book Insights Expands to Over a Million E-Books Across Google Play

Google has expanded its Book Insights feature to over a million English-language e-books on the Play Books Android app and web reader. The feature, built in collaboration with Gemini, allows readers to get a summary of what they've read so far or ask questions about themes, context, or characters.

Previously available for a limited selection of books, Book Insights is now accessible across popular bestsellers and free titles. Users can try the feature on their phones, tablets, or through the web, with access to titles such as Project Hail Mary, The Deal, Atomic Habits, and more.

The expansion aims to enhance the reading experience for users, providing a helpful companion tool that doesn't require leaving the book. With Book Insights, readers can dive deeper into their favorite stories without disrupting their immersion.
