Brady Acquires Honeywell's Productivity Solutions Business in $1.4 Billion Deal
Brady Corporation has completed its $1.4 billion acquisition of Honeywell's Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) business, a move that positions the company as a leading provider of identification, safety, and productivity solutions for businesses globally.
The deal, which was funded with cash on hand and debt financing, adds PSS's strong portfolio in mobile computing, scanning, RFID, and workflow software to Brady's existing capabilities in printers and consumables. The combined entity now has access to the $9 billion productivity solutions market and is expected to benefit from secular tailwinds in automation, digitization, and asset tracking.
The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted diluted earnings per share by approximately $0.80 within the first year following the close of the transaction. Brady also expects to achieve a minimum of $25 million in annual run-rate cost synergies within three years of closing through improved operational efficiency.
