Brandon Police Crack Down on Trio Involved in Thefts and Impaired Driving

Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of incidents in Brandon, Manitoba. The trio was accused of stealing merchandise from a Home Depot store in the Corral Centre on Saturday morning.

The theft occurred around 9:30 am, according to police. An off-duty officer reported seeing three men attempting to steal from the business near 18th Street North.

The suspects were pulled over by on-duty officers a few blocks away and all the stolen merchandise was recovered, said Sgt. Paul McBeth. The value of the stolen goods is not specified in the police release.

One of the suspects, a 25-year-old man, is subject to a deportation order to leave Canada permanently. Another suspect, a 27-year-old man, had been issued a removal order by the Canada Border Services Agency on Saturday.
