Breaking Down Tech Barriers in the Twin Cities
Devin Boeing, the 26-year-old founder and CEO of Cryptic Institute, is on a mission to bring tech education to underserved communities in Minnesota. Growing up as a tall Black man, Boeing faced pressure to focus on sports rather than pursuing his passion for technology.

Cryptic Institute offers free four-week classes on basic computer tools like Microsoft Word as well as newer topics such as AI and cryptocurrency. The program partners with local community centers, libraries, and the Minneapolis Urban League to reach a wider audience.
