Bridgewater Advisors Inc., a prominent financial institution, has acquired a new position in The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), according to its most recent 13F filing with the SEC. In the second quarter, Bridgewater bought 7,353 shares of Boeing's stock, valued at approximately $1,704,000.

The news follows other institutional investors who have also increased their stakes in Boeing. Revolve Wealth Partners LLC bought a new stake in Boeing worth $201,000, while Sivia Capital Partners LLC grew its position by 16.5% during the second quarter. AXA S.A. lifted its stake in shares of Boeing by an impressive 1,225.7%, bringing its total to 34,655 shares valued at $7,261,000.

Analysts view these moves as positive sentiment for Boeing's defense business and potential revenue growth. The Pentagon signed framework agreements with Boeing and RTX to increase production of components for SM-3 Block IIA and Block IB interceptor missiles. These seven-year arrangements could provide greater visibility and support incremental revenue, helping drive the stock higher.
