Bridgewater Advisors Buys into IBM with $2.25 Million Stake

Bridgewater Advisors Inc. has added to its portfolio by purchasing 9,932 shares of International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) in the second quarter, according to a recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The value of these shares is approximately $2,248,000.

This is not an isolated move, as several other institutional investors have also recently adjusted their holdings of IBM's stock. State Street Corp increased its stake in the technology company by 1% in the fourth quarter, bringing its total to 54,996,293 shares valued at $16,290,452,000.

Additionally, Geode Capital Management LLC boosted its position in IBM by 1.5% during the same period, now owning 22,605,083 shares worth $6,679,105,000.
