Brighton vs AS Roma: Pre-Season Friendly Match Preview

Brighton and Hove Albion are set to kickstart their pre-season campaign against Italian giants AS Roma in their own backyard at the American Express Stadium. The East Sussex outfit finished strongly last season to clinch a direct spot in the UEFA Conference League.

The Seagulls have made a massive signing to acquire Vuskovic from Spurs, while many players like Danny Welbeck and Diego Coppola have left the club. German gaffer Fabian Hürzeler is set to lead them in the new season, after taking over the reins in 2024.

Meanwhile, AS Roma finished third last season and will be looking for a strong performance against Brighton. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is set to continue, having done a fantastic job since taking over and clocking an average of 1.8 points per game.
