Broadcom and Microsoft are two dividend growth stocks worth holding in your portfolio. Broadcom has increased its annual dividend by 1,170% over the past decade, while Microsoft has raised its dividend for 21 consecutive years.

Broadcom's dividend increases have been impressive, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 29%. The company's free cash flow was $10.26 billion in the second quarter, well above the $3.09 billion it paid out in dividends.

Microsfot's dividend tends to fly under the radar, but it has been one of the more consistent in the tech world. It has raised its dividend from $0.36 to $0.91 per quarter over the past decade.

The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team identified 10 stocks as being among the best for investors to buy now, but Broadcom was not on that list. However, Microsoft is one company whose longevity and dividend stability you don't have to question.
