Brother Bear Theme Revealed for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is a new hotel being built at Walt Disney World. The project has been in the works for some time, and details about its Lake Houses have recently come to light. The cabins are designed as 'artists' retreats,' paying tribute to the Disney artists who worked on the 2003 animated film Brother Bear.

The video shared by DVC Fan shows a closer look at the interior design plan for the Lake Houses. Each cabin features cherry hardwood floors, green and black furniture in front of a fireplace, and large back windows overlooking the water. A dining room table is near the spacious kitchen, which has wood cabinets that match the floor and dark stone countertops.

The natural decor themed to Brother Bear can be spotted throughout each room. The living area features a TV above a large fireplace, while one of the bedrooms boasts a large wood decor piece shaped like a mountain range with rainbow lights shining behind it. This Northern Lights motif continues in the bathroom with artwork above the tub and rainbow-colored shower tiles.

Disney's Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open in Summer 2027. Construction on the Lake Houses is well underway, as seen in a photo from a few days ago.
